Refund and Returns Policy

The Poodle Spot

At The Poodle Spot, we take great pride in the health, care, and well-being of our poodle puppies and kittens. Because we are dealing with live animals, our refund and returns policy is different from that of non-living products. Please read the following carefully before making your purchase.


Live Animal Sales

  • All sales of puppies and kittens are final.

  • Once a puppy or kitten leaves our premises and is in your care, we cannot accept returns due to health, safety, and biosecurity reasons.


Health Guarantee

  • Every puppy and kitten is sold with a health check from a licensed veterinarian.

  • Buyers are responsible for having their new pet examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery/pick-up.

  • If a licensed veterinarian finds a serious, life-threatening congenital condition within this period, you must notify us immediately at info@thepoodlespot.com with supporting documentation.

  • In such cases, The Poodle Spot will work with you to either:

    • Replace the puppy or kitten with one of equal value (subject to availability), or

    • Provide a partial refund, at our discretion.


No Refunds For

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.

  • Allergies, landlord restrictions, or personal circumstances.

  • Illnesses or injuries caused by neglect, accidents, or improper care after the animal has left our premises.


Deposits & Reservations

  • Deposits made to reserve a puppy or kitten are non-refundable unless The Poodle Spot is unable to provide the reserved pet.


Delivery & Pick-Up

  • Once a puppy or kitten is handed over to the buyer or their representative, responsibility for the pet’s health and safety transfers to the buyer.

  • The Poodle Spot is not responsible for costs incurred after transfer, including veterinary care, food, or training.
